The recipe has taken social media by storm today, after mum Vicki shared the secret technique during a Mums Who Clean post.
Describing it as her ‘best food hack’, Vicki said: ‘When doing roast spuds, peel, cut and place in baking dish then .... get French Onion dry soup mix and sprinkle over top of spuds. Then sprinkle your oil over that and bake. It’s the only way I do roast spuds now ...’
She adds: ‘It’s the bomb my mum taught me!’
Vicki was inundated with messages from fans who have tried the same technique - and love it!
‘I second this, it’s AMAZING,’ said one. Added another: ‘Yesssssssssss! I use french onion soup in potato bake with some cream, DELISH!’
