1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon fresh ginger
1 tablespoon minced garlic
500g peeled green prawns, thawed if frozen
1 tablespoon olive oil
Steamed rice to serve
Shallots, chopped, and coriander leaves to serve
In a bowl, add honey, soy, ginger and garlic and whisk to combine.
Pour marinade into a ziplock bag and add prawns. Seal and leave to marinate for 15 minutes
Heat olive oil in a large frypan over a high heat. Cook prawns for 90 seconds, then turn for another 60 seconds. Serve immediately on a bed of steamed rice, sprinkled with chopped shallots and coriander for garnish.
