This actually wasn’t on the plan for weekend baking – but my mum felt like scones. I wondered how to find the easiest scone recipe that could be whipped up in times like these when you really don’t feel like baking – you simply want scones, pronto.
I was surprised by how many of these cute little scones could be made with the amount of dough – that’s the magic of self-raising flour!
They retained their shape really well, making me think they would be extra adorable if cut out using different shaped cutters. Why not bake some heart-shaped scones for your loved one on Valentine’s Day or for a birthday breakfast in bed? Sounds like a plan!
The best thing about these brownies is that they look stunning. Brownies aren’t the most creative of baking ideas, but if you pop just the right amount of peanut butter into the mixture and swirl it around, you have an insta-worthy snack.
We tried to cut these into triangles for a different effect, and crumbled some freeze-dried raspberries over the top (which are delicious, by the way – from Fresh As)
