5-Ingredient Birthday Cake Pancakes
Prep: 5 Minutes - Cook: 25 Minutes - Easy - Serves 4-6

Ingredients

540g packet Strawberries and Cream strawberry-flavoured cake mix

1 cup self-raising flour

1 ¾ cup milk

2 eggs

¼ cup hundreds and thousands sprinkles

Method

  1. Place cake mix and flour into a large bowl. Mix well. Stir in milk and eggs until combined. 

  2. Spray a large, non-stick frying pan with cooking oil. Heat pan over a medium to low heat. Pour 1/3 cup batter into pan. Sprinkle with ½ teaspoon hundreds and thousands. Repeat to make one more pancake.  

  3. Cook for about 3 minutes, or until bubbles appear on the surface. Turn pancakes over. Cook for about 1 minute, or until cooked underneath. Remove. Cover to keep warm. Repeat to make 12 pancakes in total.  

  4. Serve with ice-cream (optional). 

     

    TIP! We used a Betty Crocker cake mix but you can replace with other types, if you prefer.
