How to activate almonds
What you’ll need:
- 1 cup nuts
- 2 cups of water
- Baking tray
What to do:
1. Soak almonds in a large bowl of water with a pinch of salt for 12 hours. Change the water every couple of hours, or when it turns murky.
2. Drain and pat the almonds dry before spreading them evenly on a baking tray.
3. Cook the almonds at 25C for 12 hours.
4. Allow to cool before storing in an air-tight container in the fridge,
