Sharing on the Aldi Mums Facebook page, member Jessica says: ‘I made scolloped potatoes in 10 minutes In the air fryer with them and they were divine !!!! Just tossed in salami onions cheese and cream and some spices. To die for!’
Added mum Amanda: ‘A must! We are of German/ Austrian decent in my family and these are the real deal. Drain and pat dry. Pop them into the pan to crisp them up. Remove. Add butter / onion / bacon and a tad of garlic. Cook bacon and onions through. Pop the potato back in and stir in the buttery goodness and then serve. 😍’
Aldi Mum Joanne also did a similar cook-up, saying: ‘First time trying Aldis potatoes in a jar, gotta say I'm impressed! A lot better than I was expecting. Will definitely buy again!’
The group’s other members were just as impressed.
‘Looks like a plate of yum,’ said one. Added another: ‘They’re really yummy .... I do them as per the recipe on the jar, yummy.’
Said a third: ‘Hubby and son love them fried with onlon, garlic and bacon, topped with a fried egg and baked beans or spaghett i= friday fry up xox.’
Added one more: ‘They were a lovely surprise. Stocked up yesterday.’
