The bargain supermarket chain has now walked away with a top prize at the Gin Masters - a worldwide competition which sees top gins from around the globe battle it out for first place.
Aldi’s Greyson’s Seville Orange and Persian Lime - which sells for just $25, a third of some of its competitor - was named the best in the flavoured gin category, proving that you don’t have to spend big bucks to have a quality drop.
The Aldi gin won the blind tasting competition organised by The Spirits Business, taking home a coveted ‘Masters’ title.
The gin is only available in Australia during Special Buys Liquor periods, so you’ll have to keep an eye out for when it’s next in store. And be sure to get in quick!
