When the accused woman said she didn’t have one, the man responded: ‘Then you stole it.’
After more angry words, the accused woman told the staff member to ‘let my f***ing trolley go.’
Shopper Dimple Singh told 7NEWS that the accused woman seemed ‘very aggressive’ and ‘full of strength’ - saying she saw the woman in the video push the Woolworths employee to the ground.
‘I saw that she had pushed the Woolworths lady down on the ground. She was on the ground, and this girl tried to flee with the entire trolley,’ she said.
‘Two people couldn’t tackle her. To do something like that was not right, she could have harmed that other lady.’
The accused eventually let go of the trolley, making off with some nappies and tea towels - but was soon apprehended by an off-duty police officer.
The woman was arrested and charged with assault and shoplifting and will face Parramatta Local Court on July 24.
