If you thought last week’s crazy eBay auction that saw a Golden Billy Banana Stikeez sell for more than $20k was a one-off, you might want to think again!
With Coles only releasing 100 of the extremely rare Stikeez in stores, it’s no secret that serious collectors are desperate to get their hands on one.
But just a week after one of the golden minis sold on eBay for $20,100 after 65 frenzied bids, it seems that we’re set to see another of the Golden Billy Bananas sell for another huge amount.
With more than a day to go, another auction has the collectable sitting at$7,999 after 35 bids. And seeing as the first auction was at less than this with 24 hours to go, eBay watchers are getting poised for this auction to go for even more than last week’s $20k auction.
The item is available from a Sydney seller, who’s promising free shipping to the winning bidder and states that the item is ‘100% genuine’.
It comes amid talk that there is growing talk of suspicious-looking Golden Billy Bananas doing the rounds - as revealed in this report by Who.
Bidding on this latest auction finishes on Thursday night at 11.48 AEDST. We’ll keep you updated on whether it tops the magical $20k mark - watch this space!
