Just when you think you’ve seen it all, along comes an invention that really hits you for six.
Introducing Avocado On A Stick - an idea which is either genius or ridiculous, depending on how you look at it.
The bizarre creation was recently featured on the Unnecessary Inventions Facebook page, who are of course the same people who came up with the 30-metre phone charger. The post said: ‘Every millennial loves avocado toast. Now make your favorite snack faster than ever at home or on the go...on a stick!’
The post of course has sparked a fair bit of controversy, with many freaked out at the idea of putting what looks like a deodorant stick on their toast. ‘It is Rexona or Smashed Av?’ wrote one.

Others were just grossed out in general. ‘I love avocado however this is repulsive,’ one user wrote. ‘If only Mother Nature gave avocado it's own packaging. Oh wait she does and it takes like five seconds to open it this takes laziness to another level.’
Others, however, loved it. ‘This is genius!’ said one. ‘I’ll take 10!’ said another.
But before people get too excited - or outraged! - it’s worth remembering that this is just an idea at this point, and doesn’t exist ... yet. But we’re hearing it won’t be long before someone does crowd-funding to get this little avocado idea off the ground. Watch this space!
