Introducing the latest fitness craze sweeping the planet - GIN yoga!
That’s right, if hitting a yoga class for inner peace and wellness isn’t enough to get you through the doors, then the promise of gin just might be!
The new boozy exercise class has opened up in London, following on from the success of Dog Yoga and Beer Yoga. Called Gin Yin, it’s become the latest craze in the UK, with many saying it’s only a matter of time before it’s available in Australia.
But in unusual twist, yoga experts say downing gin before a class is actually good for you.
According to instructors, gin can help you loosen up joints and sink deeper into stretches and postures - making your yoga experience even better. Reason number 23987423 to love gin!

‘Yin Yoga is the ultimate relaxation for the body and mind,’ says instructor Jamie Rylett explained. ‘The addition of a small amount of gin can help to calm a busy mind, enabling you to relax more deeply into poses and achieve the maximum benefit from the practice.’
