Forget all the buzz surrounding Harry & Meghan and the impending royal baby, there's something that has just momentarily overshadowed.
Arnott’s has released a range of chocolate blocks and bar based on their popular range of biscuits.
Five flavoured blocks and bars will be available starting next week including Iced VoVo, Scotch Finger, Wagon Wheel, Ginger Nut Dark and Jatz.
Arnott’s marketing manager Pauline Mercier said that it was a way to bring together Australians love of both chocolate and the classic range of biscuits from the manufacturer.
“We wanted to combine the two and give people the best of both worlds and a new way to enjoy Arnott’s,” she said.
The company is proud of the fact that the new range is made in Australia, and made from sustainably sourced cocoa.
Blocks will sell for $5, while the bars are $2 and can be purchased from Coles, IGA and major petrol and convenience stores.
It follows in the footsteps of other companies who are cashing in on mixing up flavours with different products like Messina-inspired Tim Tams, Cadbury Vegemite flavoured chocolate blocks and Smith’s Mac n’ Cheese chips.
