Arnott’s Gluten Free Favourites will be available exclusively at Woolworths from this week and can be found in the biscuit aisle for $4.70.
“With millions of consumers seeking out snacks that are both gluten free and delicious, we decided it was time to treat them to biscuits that meet their dietary requirements without compromising on taste," Graham Fairbairn, Arnott’s Brand Manager said.
Arnott’s has worked closely with Coeliac Australia to ensure the biscuits meet the strict requirements of their endorsement program.
The number of Australians who avoid gluten has risen to nearly 25%, according to a report in the Medical Journal of Australia.
More consumers than ever are also looking for information about gluten free food, with Google search queries up more than 2x from a decade ago.
While Australia’s appetite for gluten free treats continues to increase, Arnott’s has stepped in to solve that issue with its new gluten free range.
The range includes classic favourites like the Scotch Finger, Tiny Teddy, and Choc Ripple.
The Gluten Free version of the Scotch Finger has a buttery, sweet base, with a hint of vanilla.
For Tiny Teddy, the golden baked biscuits have a crunchy bite and real milk chocolate chips baked throughout.
As for the Gluten Free Choc Ripple, the sweet biscuit has a rich cocoa flavour, the perfect crunch, and a melt in your mouth sensation.
