However in an unbelievable twist, others revealed that THEY TOO stuck their Stikeez on their windscreens - revealing a bizarre new trend that is sure to upset police.
'OMG I started doing that and they melted in the heat,’ wrote one. Added another: ’All mine melted, they look so sad now.’
Said a third: ‘What do they mean they're not for the windscreen??'
The post has attracted almost 10,000 comments and 1,500 shares - however it’s not clear whether the driver in question was fined by police.
The new scandal comes as Stikeez collectors scrounge around the country looking for an elusive Golden Billy Banana mini. Coles only released 100 of the rare Stikeez, prompting those who’d found one to sell them on eBay for huge amounts - with three auctions attracting bids of more than $85k.
