Said another: ‘Memories, we had a whole wooden spice rack of these babies, and some of older bottles with the stopper on top.’
Others posted a pic of their old spices - including a bottle of ground ginger which still had a 31-cent price tag on it and a jar of Keen’s Curry Powder with a use-by date of September 1984!
‘This is the Keen’s Curry powder that came out my mother’s pantry,' said follower Lisa. 'It’s survived at least 3 house moves.....’
