She writes: ‘Is it bad, I did a lap of the store, when I noticed they only had 1 chicken left........😮🤣
Michelle adds: ‘I parked my car, walked into the store, the woman in front of me was looking at the last chicken so I went to the deli and bought my ham, I went back and found yes she had taken it. I then asked did they have more coming out, I was told "no, but I'll give you a voucher" - I didn't ask, it was offered.’
Many fellow Markdown Addicts went on to admit that they’ve done the same thing - while others commended Michelle on her ingenuity.
‘I’ve done this!’ wrote one. Added another: ‘Done this too!’
Added a this: ‘Why have I never thought of this 🤣 bloody genius!’ Said one more: ‘I think you are BRILLIANT, I would never have thought to do that. But I will now, thank you!’
Michelle went on to add her sweet motive behind looking out for Coles hot chook vouchers.
‘I get a voucher every time I can, which I then give to the older couple who live next door. [I] also prepare other meals for them on a weekly basis, every little thing helps them stay in there home longer.’
Another follower replied: ‘Beautiful Sentiment the world needs more people like you.’
