When it comes to The Queen, it’s of course natural to assume that she’s fan of the finer things in life - especially when it comes to food and wine.
But while you may think that she dines on seafood and caviar and prime roast beef, it appears her favourite dish of all time is a little more, er, horrifying.
According to a palace kitchen worker, The Queen often requests THIS particular dish from the 70s - Jellied Chicken and Spaghetti Hoops in Aspic.
And while it doesn’t exactly look appealing, the royal staffer says it’s her ‘absolute favourite.’
‘We probably make it about once a month,’ the worker said. ‘She had it during a royal tour of Canada back in the 70s, and loved it. It’s certainly not in line with modern cuisines, but Her Majesty is a big fan.
‘She has two helpings when it’s on the menu. Prince Philip isn’t a fan, though.’
We can see why!
The Queen appears to LOVE the retro dish ...
