Remember when you could pop some money in a brown paper bag, and then, as if by magic, you’d receive a delish canteen lunch? It may be nearly time for the kids to go back to school, but for one long weekend, the adults can join in the tuckshop fun, too…
For four days only, surf brand Mambo will be ready to take your order, delivering all kinds of nostalgia with a tuckshop pop-up. They will be serving food by favourite local chefs at iconic Bondi Beach just in time for Australia Day, making it the perfect time to soak up some sea, sun, and classic food.

“We’ve got Australia’s best chefs to weigh in and reimagine Aussie tuckshop classics, we can confirm they definitely taste better than you remember!” says Mambo Marketing Manager Amy Low.
Mike Eggbert and Jemma Whiteman, the duo behind Sydney’s pop-up hit Mr Liquor’s Dirty Italian Disco, have constructed the menu.
“We wanted to grab all the fun and weird greatness of the old-school canteen tuckshop,” Mike says. “Mambo is a crazy and wild brand so there were really no limits on the food.”

The Mambo Tuckshop will be open from 10am-4pm at 266 Campbell Parade, North Bondi from Thursday 25th January to Sunday 28th January 2018.
