Ben & Jerry's challenge MPs to take action on climate change with new flavour
The company behind some of our favourite ice-cream flavours has announced a new, limited-edition flavour in the hopes of encouraging Australian politicians to focus on renewable energy.
As the name suggests, the ice-cream features s’mores and consists of marshmallow ice-cream, chocolate cookies, Graham cracker swirls and fudge flakes.
Personalised pints of the snack have been sent to key federal and state politicians in a plea to support renewable energy and put an end to fossil fuel projects.
Gimme S’more Renewables aims to raise awareness of #RiseForClimate, a global day of climate action taking place on September 8th. They are asking ice-cream lovers to join them and their climate activism partners, 350.org Australia, at one of 50 Rise for Climate picnics and marches around the country.
The exclusive flavour will be available for one day only on September 8th or until stocks last.
