Okay, technically it might not be a gadget, but Kayo is a gift any sports fan will love.
It’s the new streaming TV service from Foxtel, which only shows sports. For $25 per month (or $35 for premium), Kayo lets you stream over 50 sports live on demand, including all the AFL and NRL you can take.
This really is a gift that keeps giving, but if you find it starts giving too much then you can cancel anytime.
For the music man
Now we know the name isn’t memorable, but Sony’s WH-1000XM3 Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones truly are.
They’re amongst the best headphones you can get. Period. If your significant other loves to lose himself in music then this is the gift for him.
With an RRP of $499 they’re not cheap, but we’ve seen them offered as low as $350, so it’s worth shopping around.
For the trendsetter
If your fella is into gadgets and is an Apple guy then the Apple Watch Series 4 could be for him.
Costing upwards of $599 depending on the model, he’ll cherish having some expensive hitech bling like this on his wrist.
And he’ll never be able to say he missed that message you sent him.
For when money’s no object
Finally, if your pockets or purse are straining from all the cash wedged in them, then consider going the whole hog and getting your man the most sought after toy around, a new iPhone.
Starting from $1,629 the iPhone XS (and iPhone XS Max) are the top of the range and the best phones Apple has ever made. Enough said.
However, if your significant prefers Android phones then the Huawei P20 Pro is a great alternative. It’s a flagship phone that probably takes better pictures than the new iPhones and is a whole lot cheaper at $1,099.
