Just weeks after hearing that Coles were looking to bring out Back To School minis comes news that a Little Shop EASTER edition could be on the way as well!
One online forum has been alive with speculation that the supermarket is working on two new ranges - including Easter minis in time for March.
And given the enormous success of their first Little Shop edition and the Christmas collection, which sold out in days, it’s no surprise Coles looking to put out as many new ranges as possible in 2019.
It’s believed there will be several hot cross bun minis in the new range - including a limited edition ‘Golden Hot Cross Bun’ that will be hotly contested amongst Little Shop collectors.
‘They’re now looking at two ranges - Back To School and Easter,’ the forum user, who claims to work at Coles, reveals. ‘They might not be able to get them produced in time for Back To School, but Easter is definitely on the cards.
‘They’re talking about doing a range of hot cross buns - with one of the rare minis being a golden hot cross bun. That’ll be the one that everyone wants.’
It’s thought that a variety of chocolate products will make up the other minis in the Easter range - love it! And while there’s yet to be any official news from Coles, the Little Shop Easter edition buzz is sure to go down a treat with fans.
The original promotion ran between July and September with 30 miniature grocery items to collect, including Milo, Vegemite, Nutella, Weet-Bix, Tim-Tams and even Dettol soap and Finish dishwashing tablets.
The promotion was widely regarded as the greatest of its kind, with Coles reporting a huge upturn in sales - and prompted the supermarket to release their Christmas edition.
Now with Back To School and Easter editions being discussed again, it’s happy times ahead for Little Shop fans. Watch this space!
