Buckingham Palace is in turmoil over the shock split of Lady Davina Windsor and her husband of 14 years, Gary Lewis.
The pair married in on July 31, 2004 and share two children.
The Palace confirmed that the pair had split back in 2018 with no other explanation but several reports claim “cultural differences” played a part.
Speaking to Hello! magazine, a Buckingham Palace spokesperson said: “Lady Davina and Gary Lewis were divorced last year.”
Meanwhile, a source told the Daily Mail that the pairs differences were too great
“It’s very sad, but their differences were just too great in the end,” said the source.
Lady Davina’s parents are the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.
Gary is of Maori descent and their nuptials marked the first time a person of Maori descent married into the British Royal Family.
