It’s the super easy Christmas cake the whole internet is talking about - for a very interesting reason!
While the Grinch cake - created by Delish in the US - might look like a baking masterpiece which has taken hours to create, it seems the icing hides a very big secret.
Closer inspection reveals that the base of the cake is made using cupcakes placed in formation to create the face of the Grinch. They then just pipe icing in various colours over the top to complete the finished product - and guests can just take a cupcake from the side to eat, instead of cutting a slice of cake.
And while Delish have made their own cupcakes in their recipes, we don’t see why you can’t just use store-bought cupcakes from Woolies or Coles and decorate it as shown - making it a very fast and easy creation.

This definitely isn’t the first time that we’ve seen pull-apart cupcake cakes take over the internet, but they’re usually done in the formations of numbers or fruits such as pineapples or watermelons - so it’s no surprise that seeing something as intricate as the Christmas Grinch has caused such a stir.
‘This looks super hard, but is actually really easy,’ wrote one fan. ‘If you had everything lined up, it’d probably only take 10 minutes to make!’
