Sharing before and after photos of how he wiped out a series of scuffs on a Nissan XTrail, Danny says he’s tried scores of products to remove scuffs from a car’s exteriors, but nothing works like the Kmart cleaning pads.
‘People often have lots of scuffs and marks on their cars, which they tend to just leave there because they think it will cost them big bucks to have it fixed at a panel beaters,’ he says.
‘These can be caused from another car’s bumper tapping you or if you nudge a pole, maybe it a gate closes on your car. And simple washing and waxing won’t remove them, you need something more.
‘The Kmart pads work so well. All you do is wet them well and give the mark a gentle rub and the marks just melt away in seconds. I use them all the time, they’re my secret weapon.’
But Danny warns that you have to be careful to not rub too hard: ‘Just a gentle amount of pressure, nothing too vigorous.’
He also suggests doing a small test on an area of the car not usually seen to the naked eye, just to make sure it doesn’t affect the paint job on your car.
‘I’ve never had a problem, but it’s always good for people to be extra careful,’ he tells New Idea Food.
So trying this!
