Prince Charles will celebrate his 70th birthday in November, but not before he and Camilla Parker-Bowles set out on a big royal tour.
Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall will be traveling to Africa for nine days from October 31, the same day Prince Harry and Meghan Markle return home after their trip to Australia.
The tour will include visits to Gambia, Ghana and Nigeria, Clarence House confirmed this week.
The couple will make it back to London just in time for Charles’ milestone 70th birthday on November 14.
The announcement of the African tour comes just days after photos of Camilla’s glamorous Sardinian vacation, without Charles, emerged.
Camilla, 71, sunned herself in an array of colourful swimsuits after jetting to the Italian island.
