Ingredients
250 g softened cream cheese
⅔ cup sour cream
35 g sachet of salt-reduced French onion simmer soup mix
1 handful blanched green spring onions
4 carrot cut into sticks
4 celery stalks cut into sticks
2 zucchini cut into sticks
1 package semi-dried tomatoes, to serve
Method
- Using electric beaters, beat 250g softened cream cheese with ⅔ cup sour cream until smooth. Stir in 35g sachet of salt-reduced French onion simmer soup mix. Line a 1½-cup oblong dish and spoon in the mixture. Cover and weight down then chill until serving time. Turn onto a plate and decorate with strips of blanched spring/green onions. Place spring/green onion strips in ice water to curl for the top of the parcel. Serve with vegie sticks. Garnish with semi-dried tomatoes if desired.
