3 rashers bacon
500 g chicken mince
¼ cup barbecue sauce
4 slices cheese
4 toasted burger buns
- Remove the rind from 3 rashers bacon and roughly chop. Place into a bowl, add in 500g chicken mince and ¼ cup barbecue sauce. Season with pepper if desired. Form mixture into 4 patties, cover and chill until required.
- Char-grill or barbecue patties for 8-10 min, turning often. Top with cheese and cook for a further minute. Transfer to toasted burger buns and top with a your favourite chopped salad or make a salsa.
- Serve with a dollop of sour cream and garnish with red onion rings if desired.
