500 g regular beef mince
35 g packet taco seasoning
⅔ cup rinsed, drained and lightly mashed kidney beans
4 slices cheese
4 wholemeal rolls
- In a medium bowl, combine 500g regular beef mince with a 35g packet taco seasoning. Add 2/3 cup rinsed, drained and lightly mashed kidney beans. Mix well and divide into 4 patties. Cover and chill for 30 min.
- Heat a non-stick grill pan to medium high and cook burgers for 5-8 min each side or barbecue if preferred. Top each patty with cheese and cook for a further minute.
- Serve on wholemeal rolls, topped with salad if desired. Accompany with potato wedges, sweet chilli sauce and sour cream.
