250 g unsalted butter, chopped, at room temperature
¼ cup caster sugar
½ x 395 g can sweetened condensed milk
2½ cups self-raising flour
250 g packet Dark Choc Bits
110 g packet macadamia nut halves
- Grease four oven trays.
- Beat butter, sugar and condensed milk in a small bowl with an electric mixer until thick and pale. Transfer to a large bowl. Stir in flour, Choc Bits and nuts. Mix well.
- Roll tablespoons of mixture into balls. Place about 6cm apart on prepared oven trays. Press down with palm of hand to flatten.
- Cook, one tray at a time, in a moderate oven (180C) for about 10 minutes, or until lightly browned. Remove from oven. Stand on trays for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool.
- Serve biscuits warm or cold.
