1 tbsp water
2 cups natural almonds
2 tbsp caster sugar
2 tbsp firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
- Preheat oven to 150°C. Line an oven tray with baking paper.
- Put eggwhite and water in a medium bowl and whisk together until mixture is frothy. Set aside.
- Transfer eggwhite mixture to a large bowl, then add almonds, mixing until well combined. Stir in caster sugar, brown sugara and cinnamon.
- Spread almond mixture onto prepared oven tray, in a single layer. Bake, stirring halfway through cooking, for 25 minutes or until light golden. Set aside for 30 minutes until cooled to room temperature. Serve.
