Stylish wicker dolls beds might be super popular, but they can cost you a pretty penny at designer stores - with some boasting price tags of well over $100.
However now mums have worked out a budget way to achieve the same style of dolls house at a fraction of the cost - thanks to a $19 Kmart Woven Plant Stand.
The stylish product is part of the bargain chain store’s new range, and is already a favourite with shoppers. But now Kmart fans are using to make gorgeous dolls beds for their little ones to play with - and we’re loving the results.
Said mum Karri, who was one of the first to share the idea on Kmart Decor & Hacks: ‘Love the look of woven doll bassinets but most of the ones I found were out of my price range 😢 stumbled upon this woven plant stand for just $19 today ! Just going to sew up some bedding and it'll be perfect!’
Karri was one of the first to point out how a doll fits perfectly into the plant stand!

She writes: ‘Made my grandaughters the dolly beds today with the kmart wicker planters. Sheets , pillow, pillow cases and reversable quilts for each one ! They will be so excited!’

Another mum Melissa shared her doll bed hacks, saying: ‘I may have had to drive across the city, stalk the Kmart trolleys, look like a fool in the foam store, get multiple hot glue gun burns and have to pull a friend down from the “she’s having another baby” belief (she thought this was a full sized cot) but I now have two of these for each of my daughters! Planter, tea towel and napkin from Kmart.’
Melissa drove all over town to find the stand ...
