He went on to claim that he hadn’t been making money for a year, saying “If I go on the dole tomorrow I’m going to bring home more money that I did for the past 12 months.’
However the chief executive of the Franchised Food Company, the parent company of Cold Rock, Stan Gordon denied that food delivery services were a problem, and said he was hoping to reopen the Springwood store.
‘There’s no guarantees in life but I can say pretty certainly Springwood will open,’ he told The Courier-Mail.
‘We’re in the business of opening stores, not closing them.’
