Coles issue urgent recall on popular ice-cream over metal fragments

Customers are being offered full refunds for two ice-cream varieties.

Coles have issued a recall of two of their popular ice-cream desserts after discovering that there was a risk they could contain fragments of metal.

The two desserts in question are from Coles Mini Classic range: Coles Mini Classic 360ml six-pack ice cream in vanilla with a best before date of April 16 and April 17, 2020 Coles Mini Classic almond flavour stamped best before April 18, 2020.

The affected six-packs were sold online, in supermarkets, and in Coles Express service stations in New South Wales, ACT, and Western Australia.

Customers are being asked to return the ice-creams to any Coles supermarket for a full refund.

The recall has come shortly after another Coles recall for so-called ‘vegan’ chocolate which was found to contain undeclared dairy products.
