A Coles shopper has called on the supermarket to recall a range tinned tomatoes after an unsettling find.
Customer Sahar took to Facebook to share how her son nearly swallowed a large piece of plastic, which she believes was in a tin of Coles brand Diced Italian Tomatoes.
Posting on Coles’ Facebook page, Sahar shared an image of the plastic piece and wrote: ‘Mortified by what happened today ... I purchased your diced tomatoes in a can cooked up my meal as my 3yr old boy was eating he spat out this big piece of plastic that came from [your] can ... I am thankful my youngest wasn’t the one eating!!'
Sahar adds: ‘I ask that you make sure you recall all cans best before 13/09/2021.’
