As for her recipe for the icing, Suzanne said she used ‘3 cups icing sugar, 50g butter (room temp), 1 teaspoon vanilla essence & half a cup of boiling water.’ She adds: ‘Mix together until smooth, then dunk the cake in and roll in sprinkles.’
Simple as that! A word of warning, though - Suzanne recommends that you don’t layer the sprinkles on too thick, saying: ‘Just a thin layer is all you need.’
