Patrons of a posh British restaurant presumably have enjoyed a very nice drop indeed, having accidentally been handed a bottle of red worth more than 17 times the one they ordered.
Hawksmoor Manchester said customers of its steakhouse were given the bottle, valued at £4500 - a great deal more than the Bordeaux they actually paid for, valued about £260.
That works out to about AUD8,350 and 420 respectively.
A manager picked up on the mistake after the customers had left, the restaurant wrote on Twitter.
"To the customer who accidentally got given a bottle of Chateau le Pin Pomerol 2001, which is £4500 on our menu, last night - hope you enjoyed your evening!" they wrote.
They also directly addressed the employee at fault.
"To the member of staff who accidentally gave it away, chin up! One-off mistakes happen and we love you anyway."
Twitter users have widely praised the restaurant for handling the situation, while some have requested to make a booking with the same waiter.
There's been no word from the patrons, who presumably enjoyed a wonderful tipple.
