You know Christmas is on the way when all sorts of advent calendars start coming our way.

But of all the ways to count down the festive period, there’s one calendar that always gets our big tick of approval - and it, of course, involves wine!

First photos! Aldi’s super popular Advent Wine Calendar is back!

The first photos of Aldi’s hugely popular Wine Advent Calendar have been released in the US, and it looks just as good - if not better! - than last year’s offering!

The Festive Collection Wine Advent Calendar includes 24 mini bottles of red, white, rosé and bubbly wine - one for each day of December in the lead-up to Christmas - and was the cult Christmas buy of 2018.

And now that an on-sale date for the boozy festive calendar has been released for Aldi shoppers in the US - November 6 - it means we should be hearing about the Aussie release date very, very soon. We can’t wait!

But in more exciting news, it’s been revealed that Aldi will also be releasing a Countdown To The New Year Wine Calendar in the US, where you can enjoy a mini bottle of champers for each of the seven days in the days between Christmas and New Year’s Day.

There’s no word yet on whether this new calendar will be hitting Aussie shores, but we can only hope! We’ll keep you posted as more information comes to light!
