Video of former Today show newsreader Sylvia Jeffreys chasing down a criminal on A Current Affair has emerged.
The current affairs show posted footage that shows the 32-year-old alongside ‘genius’ financial advisor Gabriel Nakhl, who was sentenced to 10 years’ imprisonment for engaging in dishonest conduct with investor funds.
‘These are good hard-working people, Mr Nakhl. You’ve left them with nothing,’ Sylvia can be heard saying.
‘You’ve got absolutely nothing to say to them?’ she continued.
‘Are you sorry for what you did to these families?’ Sylvia pressed.
‘Is there anything that you’d like to say to them? You lied to them. You misled them. You stole their money and left them with nothing,’ she added.
Nine Network confirmed Sylvia’s move to ACA last month after she was let go from the breakfast TV show in December.
