The name says it all - these cookies are fun! Get the kids to help out rolling batter into hundreds and thousands. They only take 20 minutes in the oven!
200 g chopped butter
200 g tube sweetened condensed milk
1 grated fresh lemon rind
2 cups self-raising flour
1 packet hundreds and thousands
- Beat chopped butter in a bowl with sweetened condensed milk until creamy. Add the grated rind of a lemon and 2 cups self-raising flour. Mix well.
- Scoop scant tablespoon-size portions into balls then flatten, press one side into a plate of hundreds and thousands and place decorated side up on a double lined baking tray.
- Bake at 160°C (140°C fan forced) for 18-20 min. Cool before serving.
