A shopper has been left disgusted after making a very unfortunate discovery in a packet of lettuce, purchased from Coles.
The Perth woman said she was put ‘right off my lunch’ after opening the bag of baby cos lettuce to find what appeared to be large droplets of poo amongst the leaves.
The shopper shared a photo of the disturbing discovery on Facebook, but it’s still unclear what sort of animal left behind the poop.
‘Just bought this baby cos yesterday and have found what looks like very large poop droppings right through the lettuce!’ she wrote on Facebook.
‘I’m used to seeing little bits of dirt etc but never seen such big bits. Went right off my lunch.’
The woman was disturbed to find what appears to be large pellets of poo in her lettuce.

The woman went on to say that she’d bought the lettuce on Thursday and was planning to return it to the Coles supermarket she purchased it from.
Coles have previously said that they are happy to refund produce that is not up to scratch.
‘As always we encourage customers to return any item they’re not 100 per cent happy with to their nearest store for a full refund or replacement,’ a Coles spokesperson told Yahoo.
