Sunrise hosts Samantha Armytage and David Koch were left red-faced after a hilarious on-air blunder.

The pair opened Friday’s show by announcing there are just 365 days until the Tokyo Olympics.
“It is a special day, one year until the Tokyo Olympics,” said Sam, to which Kochie replied by mispronouncing “Konichiwa”, which means hello in Japanese.
Sam was quick to correct Kochie before the hosts and crew burst out laughing.
“Can we start again, rewind and we’ll go again,” said the blonde host.
Earlier this month, Sam and co-host Natalie Barr answered some rather confronting questions from viewers of the show.
When one fan asked the pair “Are you all really as nice as you appear to be on Sunrise?” Nat came back with a surprising answer.
“Nah, she’s a b***h faced moll,” Natalie responded, as they both burst into laughter.

She then backtracked, saying “No she’s not, I just love that term.”
Sam then went on to honestly answer the question, saying that what you see is what you get when it comes to the Sunrise team, which also includes David Koch and Mark Beretta.
“We’re fairly much, what you see is what you get because there’s no time for BS that time of day,” she revealed.
“And we’re all fairly straight shooters, that’s why they put us together as a team. So, are we as nice as we appear? We don’t always appear to be nice.”
