As the famous saying goes, “never work with children or animals”, but Summer Bay has made an exception for the resident dog, Buddy.
As James Stewart (Justin) says of the Morgan family pet, he “always knows his lines, always knows his cues”.
A bobtail boxer, 5-year-old Buddy is no stranger to the cameras, having starred in several TV commercials before moving into the Bay.
And when it comes to what the four-legged A-lister wants on his dressing-room rider, Buddy is anything but fussy.
It seems he “likes to eat everything” from cooked chicken to beef, lamb, turkey and cheese.
What’s more, the clever canine “recognises and loves the Morgan family as if they were part of his own family in real life”.
