Ingredients
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons sweet chilli sauce
6 tablespoons tomato sauce
1/2 cup water
2 chicken breasts, cut into long strips
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon olive oil
7 tablespoons plain flour
3 tablespoons cornflour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
Vegetable oil for shallow frying
Sesame seeds and steamed rice to serve
Method

Place honey, sweet chilli sauce, tomato sauce and water in a small saucepan and boil until thick.

Place chicken strips in a separate bowl and add soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil and olive oil and stir to combine. Leave to marinate for one hour.

Place flour, cornflour, salt and pepper in another bowl and stir to combine.

Take a chicken strip, coat it in flour mixture and dust off excess, set aside. Repeat with remaining chicken pieces.

Heat vegetable oil in frypan and heat oil to hot. Add chicken pieces and cook for 12 minutes or until cooked through, turning occasionally,

Place cooked chicken pieces in a bowl and add hot honey sauce mixture, stirring to coat all the chicken with sauce.

Place steamed rice in serving bowls and top and chicken pieces. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve.
