We’ve only just taken down our Christmas decorations, but already Easter products have already taken over our supermarkets.
First up, we had hot cross buns in store just THREE DAYS after Christmas - then Woolworths released a hot cross bun ice-cream just days later.
Now M&Ms have jumped on the bandwagon, releasing a Hot Cross Buns flavoured edition of the sweet treat.
Available only at Coles, the Hot Cross Buns M&Ms apparently have a ‘subtle spice’ - reminiscent of the baked Easter favourite.
Many fans have given the M&Ms the thumbs up, with one saying: ‘OMG, I’m going to be buying these every day until Easter.’ Another wrote: ‘Just when I thought M&Ms couldn’t get better!’
However some haven’t been convinced, with one commenting: ‘This is so wrong on all levels.’ Another wrote: ‘No, no no. And no.’
Another quipped: ‘Hope they don’t have a raisin in the middle.’
M&Ms new Easter release comes just days after a WA truck driver went viral claming that eating hot cross buns can put you over the legal driving limit, putting you at risk of a DUI arrest.
While her claims have been queried by experts, we think it’s safe to say you can’t get a DUI eating loads of Hot Cross Bun flavoured M&Ms. Chomp away!
