The tenth season of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! has officially wrapped up and Australia has finally crowned its winner for 2024.

The casting of the mega influencer (who also placed third on the 2014 season of Big Brother) as a campmate on the outlandish show was initially met with apprehension, but Skye proved that she wasn’t one to be underestimated.
Despite starting the season at the bottom of the pack, the mother of two fast became a fan favourite, endearing herself to her fellow campmates and viewers tuning in from home alike.
Despite this, none was more surprised than Skye with her win, her first reaction being “I’ve never won anything.”
Out of the 11 contestants who called the jungle camp in the Kruger National Park home for several long weeks, only three made it to the grand finale, following almost two weeks of back-to-back eliminations.
Beloved television presenter Tristan MacManus and Love Island reality television star Callum Hole joined Skye in the final three, coming in second and third respectively.
“Congratulations Skye! #TeamTristan has loved watching you grow in the jungle you absolutely deserve the jungle crown!” fellow finalist Tristan shared to his social media shortly after Skye was crowned.
But it was Skye who emerged victorious, after receiving the highest amount of votes placed for her to win.
In fact, according to hosts Julia Morris and Robert Irwin, the tenth season of I’m A Celeb had seen the most amount of votes made by the Australian public to save their favourite celebrities in the history of the show.
“I’m shocked. I feel absolutely blessed to have had this opportunity and to go through the things I went through with these boys [Tristan and Callum],” an emotional Skye shared moments after being crowned.
“I’m so blessed to have experienced that. I just feel like the whole journey, the whole experience has taught me so many things, and I just can’t wait to apply those things I’ve learned in the jungle in my everyday life.”
On her Instagram stories, Skye’s mum shared a “massive thank you” on her daughter’s behalf for voting Skye to win.
“We are incredibly happy that you all got to see the courageous, determined, caring, and loving Skye.”
Skye was supporting Bully Zero during her stint on the Logie award-winning reality television series, and her win means a much-appreciated $100,000 will be donated to the charity.
Bully Zero is Australia’s leading bullying prevention charity and delivers educational programs to young people, parents, teachers, and employees to help prevent bullying.
The organisation also advocates for changes to policy and legislation that play a part in reducing bullying and provides support, information, and advice to members of the public about how to stop any bullying they or a loved one may be experiencing.
Taking to their Instagram stories after Skye was crowned Queen of the Jungle, the organisation wrote that they felt “humbled” to have been selected by Skye as her chosen charity.
“[We] have been truly inspired by her dedication, grit, and resilience during her time in the jungle, but most of all by her kindness, compassion and a dream that matches our own, of a world free from bullying. Skye Wheatley, you have an absolute heart of gold and we are forever indebted.”
