Television personality Jessica Rowe is no stranger to experimenting with her hair, and now the quirky presenter has dyed her short locks a shade of blue.
The 47-year-old debuted the new look on Instagram and admitted she’d had mixed reviews from her family.
‘Mermaid hair don’t care!! I love it!!,’ she wrote on Instagram, thanking her hairdresser at Scarpa Hair in Double Bay.
In the caption’s hashtags, Jess revealed that her eldest daughter Allegra, 11, ‘loved’ the new colour, while her younger daughter Giselle, 9, was less than impressed.
Jessica’s new look comes after she sent shock waves across Australia when she abruptly quit her hosting role at Studio 10 in March.
The veteran journalist cited personal reasons for the shock exit, revealing she wished to spend more time with her young daughters.
Rowe revealed that she’d become ‘grumpy’ and couldn’t be there emotionally for her daughters.
‘I was finding in the afternoons I’d be getting grumpier and I don’t like feeling like that and I thought something has to give,’ she revealed to 9Honey.
She added, ‘When they were younger I felt they needed me physically, and now it’s more emotional, and I want to be there for them.’
