The Duchess of Cambridge has revealed Princess Charlotte’s favourite food, and to say we’re a little surprised is an understatement!
While most three-year-olds love tucking into chips, chocolate and nuggets, it seems little Charlotte's number one snack is OLIVES!
And it doesn’t stop there, with Kate also revealing that the toddler makes her own cheesy pasta sauce from scratch! Woah.
Kate made the revelation while speaking to pupils at Lavender Primary School in north London overnight.
‘Charlotte loves olives,’ the Duchess said, revealing that she often gets Prince George and Princess Charlotte to cook with her - and they can make their own favourite ‘cheesy pasta’.
‘She was telling us how much her children love cooking and how they cook for herm’ Matthew Kleiner-Mann, chief executive of the the Ivy Learning Trust, said afterwards. ‘They made cheesy pasta the other day.
'One stirs the flour, one puts the milk and butter in, and they make salads and stuff. Food is important to her and she understands the links between mental health and physical exercise.'
Just a few months ago, Kate revealed that George and Charlotte love to 'get their hands messy' making pizza dough. Don’t we all!
Adds Mr Kleiner-Mann, who introduced the mental health programme Place2Be to the school: ‘She was so engaging and was interested in how Place2Be fitted into the whole school community.
'She was wonderful with the children and was keen to speak to the parents about the whole helps with their mental wellbeing too.
‘I introduced Place2Be to the school because I realised the important of counselling and mental wellbeing but didn’t have the wherewithal to do it myself.
‘The Duchess was really interested in how it worked, how Place2Be worked in a school environment and how it helps all children, not just those specifically having dealings with them day to day.'
