Speaking of the launch, Nestlé Head of Marketing Confectionery Joyce Tan said that the KitKat team are "always looking for ways to create the most exciting break".
“So, we wanted to launch a new creation which would excite fans with a flavour and texture combination that would leave them longing for more," Joyce said.
“There’s so much love for both of these chocolate bars, so we’re excited for them to become one and take the KitKat choc mint experience to the next level.”
KitKat Chunky Aero Mint will be available nationwide in grocery and convenience stores for $2.00 from the beginning of August.
It comes after KitKat recently teamed up with Lotus Biscoff to launch a special edition Biscoff Lotus KitKat flavour.
The new flavour features a crunchy caramelised biscuit spread made with Lotus Biscoff to the original classic caramelised biscuit, coated in creamy milk chocolate to create the ultimate chocolate dream.
