The limited-edition KitKat flavour is described as “crisp wafer fingers covered in creamy golden white chocolate for a deliciously caramelised break.”
KitKat will host a free edible installation to celebrate the release, featuring a wall covered in KitKat Gold alongside a “break zone” for chocoholics.
8,000 free golden KitKat bars will be available in Sydney (Martin Place) on 30th August and Melbourne (Southern Cross station) on 3rd September. Two of the bars will contain a golden ticket where you can score a $5000 holiday to Tahiti or Africa.
According to Nestle head of Marketing Confectionery, Anna Stewart, “we are encouraging Aussies to become part of the gold rush and take a well-deserved break from their busy day.”
Well, if you insist!
KitKat Gold is now available in grocery stores nationwide for a limited time only.
