“We know how much Aussies love their favourite chocolate bar so it’s been a privilege to replicate the classic KitKat taste sensation in frozen form," Peters' Head of Marketing, Andrea Hamori, said.
"We’re confident our new sticks will deliver that unique, have-a-break KitKat experience fans have come to know and love!"
KitKat fans can buy a multipack of four for $8.50, or enjoy the tasty new treat all to themselves with a single serve for $4.00.
The new sticks will be available at Woolworths and independent supermarkets, as well as most major petrol and convenience stores from this month.
They will also be available at Coles in May.
The news comes after Nestle announced its first vegan-friendly KitKat, which featured a teaser image for the chocolate, along with the caption: “The 'KitKat' is out of the bag...”
Nestlé advertises itself as a nutrition, health and wellness company, and the KitKat V is just one of several new products developed as part of its rapidly growing interest in plant-based food.
